So im an international student here and my bf is an american. We have been together for 3 months so this is our first christmas. We didnt get to see each other on Christmas day and we saw each other yesterday. And he gave the gifts to all his cousins in front of me. But he didnt get any gift for me. I do get a gift for him but I just dont know how to give it to him? Is it common in america that bf didnt get christmas gift for their girlfriends? Otherwise why my bf did that? Or maybe cuz i have told him that we dont celebrate Christmas in my country? Please help me...thanks!!!

It could be a few things. He may think that it is too soon in the relationship to get presents. Same thing happened my husband and mine first valentines day together. He also may not think it is serious enough and he just wants to have fun until you go back to your country. Alot of American men tend to use foreign women for this purpose. Then, the other reason you listed is that he may not have thought you wanted to get a present.

No I gave my girlfriend a christmas gift and we was only dating for 1 week before that. maybe he didn't want to put down your belief or religion to hurt you in any way. So i think he was looking out for you, talk to him about it after you give him your gift.

Well that could very well be your answer you said you don't celebrate Christmas and you need to understand boys here in america are pretty damn stupid so if it requires any thinking on there part its not going to happen.
